Description:
The University of Leeds is committed to ensuring that it is accessible to everyone who can benefit regardless of age or background. To this end the University offers programmes under the title of Widening Participation actively seeking to recruit students from all walks of life who demonstrate the ability, motivation and potential to succeed in higher education. Widening Participation activity is delivered both through the Access and Community Engagement (ACE), supporting over 120 Schools and through the Faculties' Widening Participation programmes. We also provide over 600 volunteering opportunities enabling students to support local schools and community groups as well as develop key skills under the Leeds for Life initiative.
