Mummy Mask
Mummy Mask made out of cartonnage - layers of linen or cotten coverd in plaster. This mask dates to c.100 BCE, making it over 2000 years old.
The front is painted blue, brown and various colours with geometric designs, human figures and animals. The mask is gilded and the eyebrows are made from blue glass. One eye is missing.
