My Learning originally launched in 2006, and 12 years later we’re still going strong, with over a million hits a year and resources from arts, cultural and heritage organisations across the UK. Twelve years is a long time in the world of web-design however, and My Learning was definitely due an upgrade! We’re incredibly excited to reveal our new site, and we hope you enjoy using it as much as we do.
The new design puts two things centre stage; the content, and the user experience. With a super-speedy search engine behind it, and a variety of ways to search including key stage, subject, content type and good old keywords, finding the information you need quickly has never been easier. Our dynamic filter does the hard work for you, delivering results in the blink of an eye.
Create an account for a tailored experience
Anyone is able to use content from My Learning, but by creating an account* you can tailor the site to fit your needs. Choose as many subjects and / or key stages as you like and you’ll be presented with content suggestions that match your preferences. Importantly, you’ll also gain access to our fantastic new feature: Work Boards
No more time spent hunting for that great image you used last year, or that superb activity idea you came across but can’t remember where… Work Boards enable you to click, collect, save and share your favourite resources from across My Learning.
Create as many digital boards as you like and share them with your colleagues, dividing workload and saving you time and effort. With everything stored online, you can conveniently access and edit your boards from wherever you happen to be.
High quality content you can trust
As part of the re-launch, we are completing a content audit, to ensure that everything is up-to-date and top quality, whether it’s accurate information, excellent images or ready to go activity sheets. This is an ongoing process, so if there’s a resource that you used to use, which isn’t appearing on the site at the moment, please contact us and let us know. We can then prioritise updating content based on demand.
