Lead Mine Level Entrance in Swaledale

A level entrance new Grinton How Smelt Mill in Swaledale. Note the carefully constructed dressed stone arch entrance to the tunnel. The stone lining continues inside the tunnel. This is just one entrance into an interconnecting complex of levels.
