Beryl Burton, Cyclist

Beryl was a remarkable cyclist who competed at the top level for 25 years, whilst managing shifts at the local rhubarb farm and caring for her daughter. In the 1960s, she held record after record of not only women’s, but also men’s, cycling, and many of her records have never been broken.
