Amy Foster Fundraising for St Dunstan's

Young Amy Foster from Lancashire became one of the best fundraisers for the blind veterans charity St Dunstan’s (now Blind Veterans UK) during the First World War. As this photograph shows, she dressed in a traditional Scottish Highlands outfit when raising money in her home town of Burnley.
