British Civil Wars Pikemen

A brief introduction to one of the main weapons in use during the English Civil War - the pike. Most infantry regiments still had a proportion of men equipped with these long spears, particularly for deterring an attack by cavalry. Animation by Cromwell Museum volunteer Felix Copping.
