Tibetan Skull Cup - Gold Skull Decoration

Detail of a Tibetan skull cup. One of the three larger skull heads that project above the cup rim. One of these heads is now missing. These skull heads are common features on Himalayan ritual masks and sacred implements. They are a reminder of the power of wrathful deities to combat negative forces.
