Drawing by a FEPOW: Chungkai Theatre Programme

To amuse themselves and help take their minds off the awful conditions that the FEPOWs were experiencing, they made their own entertainment. This hand-drawn theatre programme details the performances that the prisoners entertained themselves with to celebrate Christmas 1943. The men have jokingly called it 'Chungkai Theatre' after the name of the prison camp.
