Florence Nightingale's Desk

This desk is believed to have belonged to Florence Nightingale and was given to Gwedoline Gascoigne at Lotherton Hall. Gwendoline was Florence Nightingale's goddaughter. Florence spent much of her life writing letters, lobbying for the advancement of the nursing profession.
