Gillows Mahogany Chair

Gillows Mahogany Chair.  Furniture made by Gillows & Co had a reputation for quality and style. The mahogany used to make the furniture came from trees that were logged using the labour of enslaved people, working for English owned companies, during the time of the triangular slave trade.
