Girl Guide Camping Water Bucket

Collapsible water bucket used on Guide International Service trainings during WW2, and then on actual expeditions after the war. Do you think it would be waterproof? What is it made of?  Guides were trained how to cook food for large numbers of people with minimal equipment and how to camp in harsh conditions.
