Catpain E C Simon in WW1 Uniform

Captain E C Simon is listed in the 1922 publication The British Jewry Book of Jewish Honour (p.307). This 1,000-page book was edited by Michael Adler, the first Jewish chaplain to serve in the First World War. It includes details of Jewish servicemen killed while serving with British or Colonial forces. This photograph of Captain Simon appears on the ‘In Memoriam Pages’ of the book.
