Meanwood, Leeds 1900

View of the area that is now Meanwood and Meanwood Park. It looks very different now and it can be hard to orientate yourself! Can you see Holy Trinity Church? The beck runs along the valley floor.

The view is taken from the Headingley side of Meanwood. The open fields are now all covered with housing. The big house on the left is Meanwoodside, now demolished and its gardens making up Meanwood Park.

Can you aee the washing on the lines by the houses? Who are the people in the picture? What are they wearing? What are the children doing?
