Modern road built on top of a Roman road

The B3135 is, arguably, one of Somerset’s most spectacular roads. It runs for 14 miles from the village of Cheddar, through the deep-sided Cheddar Gorge, to Green Ore and Oakhill. The road is constructed on top of a Roman built road.
