Saltaire United Reformed Church in Winter

Saltaire United Reformed Church pictured today, during winter. Sir Titus Salt's wife, Caroline, laid the first stone for a new church in Saltaire in 1856. Titus Salt commissioned local architects Lockwood and Mawson to build the church. It cost £16,000 and he paid for it with his own money, but today that would be more like £1.6million
