Back-to-Back Terraces, Leeds 1935

This photograph was taken in 1935 and shows back-to-back terraced houses in Canon Street in Leeds. Can you spot: the cobbled street, some residents in doorways, a line of washing hanging across the street, a wooden armchair in the road, a group of children playing on a doorstep, with toy bed and doll, a gas powered street light?

Annie’s house in Marley Place would have been similar to these.
