Two Canopic Jar Stoppers

These canopic jar lids show two of the four sons of Horus who protected different organs of the mummies.  There are the human faced Imsety, protector of the liver and the hawk-headed Qebehsenuf, who protected the intestines. The lids are made from limestone and date to c.1300 BCE.
