York Gate Kitchen Garden, Leeds

The York Gate garden is a  one acre garden created by the Spencer family between 1951 and 1994,.  in the mid 1980s it was widely recognised as one of the most innovative small gardens in England. The garden is divided into rooms by yew and beech hedges.

The garden is now owned and cared for by the charity Perennial.
