The staff and pupils of Wheeler Primary school used a visit to the Ferens Art Gallery as the starting point for a whole-school cross curricular project. They took their inspiration from a prominent painting in the Ferens Old Master collection - 'The Fish Market' by Joachim De Beuckelaer.
At the end of the project, a selection of the children's work was exhibited at the gallery. The table below shows how staff linked the painting to other curriculum areas.
